We proudly offer a generous warranty on all our claws — a promise that goes far beyond standard industry coverage and reflects how deeply we stand behind our design, materials, and craftsmanship. We are confident in the quality of what we create, and this warranty is our commitment to standing by every piece.
While our warranty covers manufacturing faults within a defined timeframe, this is not a reflection on the longevity of our designs. With the right care and thougtful use we expect these pieces of wearable art to last beautifully for many many years.
In addition to this we also offer a generous returns and refunds policy that protects you in case of change of mind.
12-Month Limited Warranty
All Claws for Change pieces are covered by a 12-Month Limited Warranty from the date of purchase.

This warranty covers all failures and issues related to structural or other manufacturing defects.
If a genuine manufacturing fault is confirmed within the warranty period, we will repair, replace, or provide another appropriate remedy in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
This warranty does not cover:
• Accidental breakage or snapping
• Damage caused by force or impact
• Decorative elements broken due to impact
• Loss of decorative elements over time
• General wear and tear
• Damage resulting from humidity, heat, improper storage, or misuse
If you believe your piece has a manufacturing fault within the warranty period, please contact us with your order details and clear photographs so we can assess and assist.
Beyond 12 Months and Issues Outside of Warranty
We understand that beautiful pieces are often well loved.
While our formal warranty period is 12 months, customers are welcome to contact us regarding issues outside this timeframe or outside the policy.
Claws for Change was founded on kindness, and we genuinely want you to be happy with your purchase.
Where appropriate and at our sole discretion, we may offer:
• Repair guidance
• Workshop repair services
• Goodwill resolutions
Any support provided beyond 12 months does not extend, renew, or create an ongoing warranty.
Sustainability & Repair
In the spirit of sustainability, we encourage repair over replacement wherever appropriate, particularly for items that have been well loved over time.
Many minor separations or decorative losses can often be restored using a small amount of clear-drying adhesive. We are happy to provide repair guidance where appropriate.
In certain cases, workshop repair services may be offered at our discretion, depending on the design and condition of the piece.
We believe beautiful things should be maintained and treasured.
Please do not discard your claw at the end of its life — we are working towards establishing a recycling program.
Change of Mind Returns
We also offer a 30-day allowance on change of mind returns, which means you have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return.
To be eligible, your item must be returned in the same condition you received it — unworn, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.

Once your request is approved, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your item. Returns sent without prior approval are not able to be accepted.
For change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Returns showing signs of wear, damage, or alteration may not be eligible for refund.

Exchanges
The quickest way to secure a different design is to return your original item (following the process above) and place a new order once your return has been approved.
European Union – 14 Day Cooling Off Period
If your order is shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification.
Items must be returned in the same condition received — unworn, unused, with tags, and in original packaging — along with proof of purchase.
Non-Returnable Items
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns on gift cards.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Please note that your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to process and post the refund.
