Our mission is to bring the beauty of the ocean to life through our original designs, while supporting the preservation of the world’s marine ecosystems
Your claw gives back
Every Claws for Change design is created to do more than look beautiful.
For each eligible claw sold, $5 is donated to ocean conservation partners and wildlife initiatives connected to the animals that inspire our pieces.
So whether your claw was chosen for yourself or gifted by someone special, it carries a little extra meaning — helping protect the ocean and the creatures we love most.

Subheading
Together, it creates impact
Our partners invest in real conservation, meaning small everyday choices can support real protection for marine life.
Why we do this
Claws for Change was born from a love of the ocean and a belief that everyday accessories can hold more meaning.
We wanted to create pieces that feel joyful and beautiful to wear, while also giving something back to the wildlife and waters that inspire them.
Every claw is part of that mission — to celebrate marine life, spark conversation, and support conservation in a tangible way.
Our current conservation partners
We currently support the following organisations and research initiatives. As our brand grows, this list may evolve over time as we add new partnerships and projects.

Your Donation
Australian Marine Conservation Society (AMCS)
The AMCS is the voice for Australia’s oceans and Australia’s leading national charity dedicated solely to protecting our precious ocean wildlife.
They are an independent charity, staffed by a committed group of scientists, educators and passionate advocates who have defended Australia’s oceans since 1965.
AMCS works to protect Australia’s ocean wildlife and ecosystems through science, advocacy, and action.
We support AMCS because their work helps protect the future of our oceans on a broad scale — from habitats to marine species.
AMCS works on the big issues that risk our ocean wildlife. Together, they have protected critical ocean ecosystems with marine reserves around the nation, including Ningaloo and the Great Barrier Reef and have led the movement to ban whaling, stopped supertrawlers, and protect threatened and endangered species like the Australian Sea Lion. Together, their community of ocean lovers save our oceans every day.

Sea Turtle Foundation
Sea Turtle Foundation is a non-profit, non-government organisation that protects and conserves highly endangered sea turtles through research, education and action.
They are the only Australia wide organisation dedicated solely to the protection of sea turtles.
Their vision is a world where sea turtles swim safely through healthy oceans, their habitats are protected and their future is secure. Tehy have been applying evidence-based science, transformative education and powerful advocacy to provide a voice for sea turtles since 2001.
Sea turtles face many threats from changes in climate, loss of nesting habitat, increased ocean pollution, and deliberate and accidental deaths caused by fishing activities around the world. These factors combined are pushing many of the world’s populations of sea turtles toward extinction.
With all 6 sea turtle species in Australia either rated as Vulnerable or Endangered, it is more important than ever that we minimise human impact on these beautiful ocean creatures and guarantee their future.

White’s Seahorse Queensland Conservation Project
No conservation initiatives currently exist for White’s Seahorse in Queensland, and we have limited data on their population size, distribution and threats. Most information comes from anecdotal sightings.
This female-led project aims to:
- Understand the abundance and distribution of H. whitei in SE Queensland.
- Examine the genetic relatedness of SE Queensland populations to those in NSW.
- Identify habitat preferences.
- Map seagrass and benthic habitats to assess environmental changes that may threaten this species.
By gathering this data, we aim to develop best-practice conservation management strategies for White’s Seahorse in Queensland and refine conservation actions for seahorses across Australia.
Our partnerships may evolve
As we release new designs and grow our conservation relationships, the organisations we support may change from time to time.
This page will always be the best place to see where donations are currently being directed.
