Whether you’re styling an elegant updo or keeping your hair neatly tucked back, you want a design that feels like it was made just for you.
So which claw is right for me?
Our hair claws aren’t just accessories—they’re wearable works of art, crafted to celebrate your unique beauty.
If you're just looking for a simple claw clip to hold as much hair as possible, our claws probably aren't for you.
That being said our claws come in a range of styles and sizes and we're confident you can find the perfect one for you
How we size...
There's two things you need to consider:
- Hair Type
- Style
sizing for hair type
On a very simple level, if you have short and/or fine hair, you should be looking for a claw with shorter 'teeth' which are closely spaced together. For longer hair you'll want longer teeth with greater spacing.
Let's look at some real examples...
As you can see, our Manta Ray claw has long teeth, which are quite spread out...
... so it has no trouble holding up a full head of long hair.
Whereas a claw like the Whale Shark claw has much smaller teeth, closely packed together...
... so with this one you might only do the fully up look if you have finer or shorter hair...
For those with very short hair, our mini claws will still hold a full head of hair.
So why not just get the biggest one, so you can hold as much hair as possible?
The answer is, you don't want to oversize. If you do, your hold will end up being too loose.
You want a claw that holds the amount of hair you're trying to hold.
Which is a perfect segue into your other consideration. The style do you want to use it for.

Again, very simply, if you're wanting to hold more hair then you'll need a bigger claw. But if you're just looking for some stunning clips to hold your braids, then a smaller one will do.
I'll show you what we mean...
This is our mini sea horse. And while the lovely Jamie has very long hair, all our mini claws would be perfect for this cute look.
And this one...
The large Clown Fish, while not big enough to do a fully up style for someone with such long and thick hair, is perfect for this gorgeous relaxed half up-do.
And this stunning pony tail that is being held perfectly by our Snorkeller Claw.
To help you out, we've given you a couple of sizing hints in the product descriptions of each design.
Just remember, these designs are meant to be a fun reflection of your personality, so just have fun with them.
